About
McSherry Brown was formed to bring fresh thinking to the executive search process, redefining the experience for candidates and clients.
Recognising the industries high turnover rate of CEOs and C-Suite leaders we set out to create a lasting solution for executive leadership.
Our success hinges on the high standards we set for ourselves, made possible because of our exceptional team, who each bring a rare blend of insight, experience, and personality.
We are always eager to hear from like-minded individuals. So if you would like to experience life at McSherry Brown, get in touch.
Purpose
Our core values emphasise innovation, inclusivity, teamwork, and professional excellence in everything we do – both in and out of the office. This approach allows us to identify and connect organisations with exceptional individuals who will excel both now and in the years to come.
Giving back to the community
We’re committed to giving back to society, dedicating two days a month to mentoring girls and women through charities like Smart Works. We invest in female and Black founders to boost funding for women-led startups and work with organisations to improve STEM and coding education in underprivileged schools.
Our team has also taken on challenging fundraisers, including a 104-mile rowing event from Oxford to London for the Newman Trust. This charity provides essential holidays for disabled children aged 5-16 who require specialised care, offering them safe, fun activities they might otherwise miss out on.
Claire-Louise McSherry
Claire-Louise founded McSherry Brown in 2008. Before she had even opened the company doors for the first time, Thomson Reuters, Bank of America and Deutsche Bank jumped on board as her first clients.
Formerly a partner at Russell Reynolds Associates, Claire-Louise has a proven track record in providing leadership advice to global chief executives. Her expertise has helped transform major fin-tech businesses, guiding them through the perils of organisational design and talent strategy – including both external recruitment and internal advancement.
She is a a champion for inclusion and diversity, giving her support to female tech entrepreneurs and mentoring girls from all walks of life.
Once a year she also indulges her passion for house music and spends time in the dance capitals of the world — Ibiza and Glastonbury.
Kim Aspey
Originally from Montreal, Canada, Kim knows a thing or two about making people feel special. After trading maple syrup for tea & crumpets 15 years ago, she made her name in London’s luxury hotel scene and even joined forces with the legendary Nick Jones at Soho House. Now, she’s lending her organisational skills and impeccable service to McSherry Brown (and we honestly don’t know what we’d do without her).
When she’s not at work, you’ll find her braving the chilly waters for a swim or adventuring with her kids in the Cotswolds. And if you ever get the chance, ask her about the time she toured with The Cure – it’s a story worth hearing.
